Terrorists held him and dozens of pupils and teachers from Oriire Local Government Area following an attack on May 15.
Olatunde described the moment terrorists announced their freedom.
They removed the blindfolds, gave directions, and sent the group out of the camp.
He explained that he stayed behind briefly because of a problem with his handcuffs.
Terrorists later gave them motorcycles for part of the journey. The group then trekked until they met security personnel.
Meanwhile, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde called for a United Nations investigation into the events. He made the request after the release.
Security officials earlier reported that their operations pressured the terrorists into an unconditional release.
They said the effort included arrests and other actions against the group.
