Two hunters have lost their lives and another suffered injuries after terrorists struck a village in Plateau State.
The incident happened on Thursday in Kum village, Riyom Local Government Area.
The victims, who came from the nearby Barkin Ladi area, were out hunting when the attack took place.
Troops from Operation Enduring Peace received distress calls and quickly moved to the scene.
They took the injured hunter to hospital for treatment and began efforts to track those responsible.
Security sources say the men came under fire during the operation.
