A Mack flatbed truck lost its brakes and struck a Toyota Sienna plus two tricycles today along LASU-Isheri Road in Igando, Lagos.
The crash happened at Iyana School inward. The impact injured one man and two women.
LASTMA officers arrived on patrol and pulled the trapped people from the vehicles.
They then moved the injured to El-Shaddai Hospital for treatment.
Police from Iba Division helped clear the scene and restore traffic flow.
LASTMA General Manager Olalekan Bakare-Oki called on drivers to inspect heavy trucks regularly. Officials say brake failure caused the collision.
This incident adds to recent concerns over road safety in the area.
Authorities continue to investigate.
