Troops repelled an ISWAP infiltration attempt in Cross Kauwa, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State, and killed the group’s cameraman on Saturday.
The military recovered a Sony camcorder from the slain fighter.
Footage on the device shows three foreign operatives coordinated the effort alongside four senior ISWAP commanders.
One man identified as Palestinian Arab Abu Ishaq serves as the group’s overall trainer.
Another, Moroccan Arab Abu Thaiba, works as a medical doctor for the terrorists.
Officials continue to identify the third Arab operative.
The fighters tried to loot medical supplies during the raid.
Two soldiers sustained gunshot wounds in the clash but remain stable after treatment.
Troops also seized ammunition and uniforms from the scene.
This event adds to ongoing efforts against ISWAP in northeast Nigeria.
