Gaza’s civil defence agency has reported that a toddler was among 10 people who lost their lives in separate Israeli strikes across northern Gaza on Tuesday.
The agency said the incidents took place in different areas of the territory.
In one case, rescuers recovered the bodies after strikes hit several locations.
Officials added that several others suffered injuries and received treatment at local hospitals.
Mahmoud Bassal, a spokesman for the civil defence, confirmed the details.
He noted that one of the strikes targeted a police vehicle in Gaza City, where four people lost their lives, including a three-year-old child named Yahya al-Mallahi.
Al-Shifa Hospital later received the bodies.
Gaza remains under continued pressure as the conflict enters another phase.
Israeli forces have carried out operations in the north, while reports from the ground describe ongoing challenges for residents trying to move around safely.
The civil defence teams continue to respond to such incidents and search for anyone still missing.
Families have begun to gather at hospitals to identify loved ones and prepare for burials.
This latest development adds to the long list of casualties in the area over recent months.
Both sides continue to exchange fire, with no immediate signs of a break in the violence.
The situation draws attention from around the world, as aid groups and officials call for steps to protect civilians caught in the middle.
