Terrorists on motorcycles ambushed and unalived three Federal Road Safety Corps officers while they performed their duties on the Tsamiya–Illo Road in Bagudo LGA, Kebbi State.
Terrorists chased the officers before they unalived them.
The victims are Deputy Chief Road Marshal Assistant Umar Aliyu, Senior Road Marshal Assistant Ezra Manu Gona, and Road Marshal Assistant Mansur Ibrahim Nasir.
Security sources say the officers faced the attack during normal road operations.
This incident adds to ongoing security issues in parts of northwestern Nigeria where groups on motorcycles target personnel.
