The attack took place on February 9.

Residents pooled money and sold belongings to free everyone, but the terrorists executed Friday Agama first, then killed Kunama Dogo, Monday Tanko, Lami Williams, Pawpaw’s brother, and Catchiest.

Next, two captives regained freedom and now receive treatment in Kachia for their injuries.

Others, including Shedrack and Daniel Ganga, also returned home.

Community members called the outcome heartbreaking because the payment failed to save all lives.

Sources familiar with the events shared details with Sahara Reporters, which first reported the story.

This incident adds to the pattern of abductions in the area where terrorists strike villages and demand money.

Officials have not issued any statement on the killings so far.
