Terrorists abducted Kebbi State High Court Judge Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza from his residence in Bunza Local Government Area.
The incident took place around midnight on Saturday after the judge returned from a trip to Sokoto.
The terrorists stormed the house along Zogirma Road and took him away.
They fired shots during the operation, yet they injured no one else in the home.
Authorities received reports right away.
Police then launched a rescue effort.
The Kebbi State Police Command confirmed the abduction and stated that the Commissioner deployed tactical teams to search forest areas.
Court officials also met with security leaders to coordinate the response. No group has claimed responsibility so far.
