Security forces rescued a school principal, a NECO official, and two students from terrorists in Olowa, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The joint team from the Nigerian Army, DSS, Police, and vigilantes freed the four this evening. Terrorists had taken them earlier.
The victims are safe and now with security agencies for debriefing.
State Commissioner Kingsley Femi Fanwo confirmed the rescue.
He said operations continue in the forest to catch the terrorists.
The four received medical checks after the ordeal.
Authorities thanked the agencies involved and noted support from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
