Authorities in Anambra State have recovered the remains of a young woman known as Fine Girl in Nkpor following her sudden disappearance.
Residents gathered as teams exhumed the remains from a site in the area on Sunday.
Reports indicate the woman told a friend she planned to visit her boyfriend before she went missing.
According to sources, the boyfriend, who comes from Enugu State but lived in Nkpor, contacted the family and asked for ₦3 million.
This step helped investigators trace and take him into custody. He now remains in police hands while probes continue.
Community members expressed deep concern over the events.
