Delta State Police arrested content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna on Tuesday. Officers took him into custody after a 20-year-old woman died by suicide.
The woman, Favour Agbro, traveled to Asaba on June 1 at Ogbonna’s invitation for content creation training.
She recorded a video that detailed the events and then ingested a toxic substance.
Medical teams tried to save her but could not.
Human rights activist Israel Joe filed a petition with police.
Officers acted quickly and located Ogbonna at his home. During questioning, he gave statements to investigators.
Police spokesperson Bright Edafe confirmed the arrest in a statement Wednesday.
The command continues to investigate the full circumstances.
Ogbonna remains at Ekpan Police Station as the case proceeds.
